Welcome Steve! I used to be on the GW forum too, but got fed up of all the bickering and clique forming that seemed to go on all the time. I find GC just so much more pleasant, laid back and with a wide variety of members.

Welcome to Gardeners Corner

I've never used any other Forum, I can't ever imagine me needing to. You can get advice on here from virtually any subject on Earth.

 

It certainly seems friendly - as was the other one - and gardeners tend to be oldish (well, I do...) and have therefore accumulated a lot of knowledge over the years, not just about gardening.

I haven't been here long, but I have found it very friendly and helpful. I don't understand the ratings and forum cash thingies, but my eyesight it very poor so I tend not to bother with anything in small print. I have been a member of the Allotment Gardening forum for quite some time. I did join Gardeners World but all the white space makes life difficult. I also watch a lot of YouTube allotmenteers some of whom are very good indeed and some ramble a bit.

I have been gardening for 50 years but that doesn't mean I know anything.

 

The forum cash is for the admins end of season bash at GCHQ . They do like a bit off bubbly and caviar
