BBC food recipes to be axed ! Petition to sign

    As the title the BBC are planning to axe the 11,000 recipes from it's website, they will be gone for good once done.

    Its been in the news this last 24 hrs so most will know about this, that there is a petition to sign/support against the beeb closing this very useful resource.

    Its too good a resource to lose so I urge you to sign it if you can.

    If this has been posted elsewhere here on GC then I would ask mods/admin to just delete this.

          You don't need to look for a special site as they always come up first when you Google recipes. Sometimes they come up on almost every entry on the first page.

            Signed it. Don't use it a lot but do use it from time to time. Like the cake and bread recipes.:snorky:

              I don't believe they are actually going as such, I was under the impression that they would be moved to the commercial goodfood magazine website (where the majority have come from to begin with?) I've never used that specific BBC website to find recipes anyway I have always used google and then specifically mentioned "bbc" if I think there will be a lot of mediocre recipes in with the results...
