I've been helping cl1.1 with a tie dye project. I very sensibly prohibited him from touching the actual dye, but being a certified idiot myself, yep, I got it on my hands.

I've washed my hands a few times. But to no avail. They are blue.

Am I going to dye a horrible death? How long til my hands return to their natural colour? Is there anything I can do to rectify the problem?

I've decided I'm going to learn to climb trees, then go and take part in a revolution on an alien jungle world.

It makes your hands slippy, making it far from ideal when trying to climb trees on an alien rain forest world.

Problem solved. I found a stone on a rope that I vaguely know is something to do with wife, and skin. So I used it to scrub my hands, and all the dye came off and my hands are lovely and silky smooth.
