    Hi,
I have a quite mature friendship plant, is about 20 years old. I'm thinking it might be too big for the pot now and become pot bound. Bits have dropped off see photo, not sure if this indicates pot bound trouble. Can I re pot it now, if so how do I go about doing that, if can't re pot, anything I can do to help plant?
    Thanks.

Well, they do go on for ages in the same pot, just with a feed a couple of times a year.

The bits dropping off are just its own way of propagation, even single leaves will root and create new plants.
If you want to repot, use a pot only about one inch all round bigger, and I'd use cactus compost.

Having said that, it might not come out of the old pot very easily, make sure it is moist all through the pot before trying to remove it, if you do repot you will probably get an initial burst of new growth.

          Crassula ovata
If grown well, it can form a small tree up to 6 ft, with a thick gnarled trunk.

I would pot it on regularly in a good quality "cactus" compost. Plenty of light, and water fairly often in the growing season.
