Well, according to Boris, Merkel wants to take over the world. :heehee:

And after Cameron's speech about WWIII I think I'll build a Nissen Hut. That should keep me safe . @Zigs is OK, he's got a Pillbox.

The old Nissen hut that was here got taken apart and turned into the surrounds for my compost heaps. It getting holes rusted through  so can I make a claim on Nissen for poor quality?

We dug our Anderson shelter up, perhaps we made a mistake. The unknown is frightening - Donald Rumsfeld would know how to express it.

I think that an opt out of the eurovision song contest would have been far better than any of the 'two thirds of diddly squit' EU reforms that David Cameron negotiated.

I think the problem is that Merkel has already taken over Europe and we are in danger of stepping out of line.
Dont like him much, but Boris has just said what I have been thinking for years.

not many days to go now...the opinions are very contrasting, in or out? To be honest any of the options will have its negative point, and many problems just to make an example immigration or terrorism will not be wiped out just like that.

But I believe that: whoever is in power, will keep a close eye on how the votes come about and act upon it, considering the will not just of the winning side, but also other significant majority, if that will be the case.

I myself will not vote, because I do not have enough knowledge to do so responsibly, as I didn't have the chance to keep myself informed on events and the economy, other than biased new coming from the media.

but well before that, we have the National Icelandic Indipendence Day (17th June) to celebrate (well, me, at least). Let me entertain you with one of the iconic songs (you have seen it all before but I am posting it again)...

                    Hi Miraflores,

Iceland is in Europe, although not in the EU.
