I have seen this fence today. I believe it is made of tree sections, cut through the lenghts, overlapped horizontally and painted in black. What really made the difference is that the edges of the sections were quite weavy and irregular. I thought it looked really nice. Would it be difficult to build, compared to a more traditional fence?

The overlapping is similar, although the one in the picture, Harry, is more like a panel.

The one I have seen, had no vertical elements to hold it (well, not visible anyway) and the horizontal "slices" were very long...the full lenght of a tree and very strong I imagine.

Yes Scrungee :yay: I have looked for "waney edge boards" online and the description seem to fit exactly what I have seen. Thank you!
