    Morning all:spinning:

Oh, I am a bag of nerves this morning. I have to go to a PIP assessment this
morning.:help: For those who do not know, it's so that I can claim an allowance
due to my Fibromyalgia/back problems. I have never claimed any sick pay in
all the time I have been diagnosed.

Miserable weather this morning, hope the sun comes out later. Forecast good for the
    weekend.:phew:

Hope you all have a nice day.
    :imphrt:

@liliana I hope this gets to you in time. Remember that when answering you need to think of the times that you are feeling really bad and have the most difficulties and not when you're feeling much better.

So, for example, try not to talk about potting up loads of plants and selling them.

        Have a look at this.

        Good luck :grphg:

I have just come back from my assessment. Not as bad as I thought
it would be. Just now have to wait for 6-8 weeks for the decision. :fingers crossed:

Fingers crossed for you @liliana - such an ordeal to go through on top of the physical discomfort!

Today looks beautiful out there and I have just finished the wage earning work I had scheduled for today so I get to play outside in between a few chores. :)

Think I'll put a carton of eggs in the sun oven and bake them then later pressure cook some tatties and make potato salad.

Have a wonderful and safe day everyone!

              Aloha everyone,

The forecast is fairly good for today and I hope we may be able to have all our guests eat lunch outside :fingers crossed:. It will make things much easier.

Got a lot of cooking to do. (Cue for some music :heehee:)

This is from the 1963 film after the worldwide hit stage show from 1960. It was based, loosely, on Elvis Presley going into the army in 1958.

Keep well and have a great day

              Aloha!

                    Good Morning,

Is everyone away on holiday seemed very quiet on here yesterday. Hoping for a better day today. Upstair neighbour had a party and a lot of noise and banging going on until 2am this morning. Thankfully, she doesn't do it often.

                      Aloha everyone,

Yesterday went very well. :blue thumb: We had cousins down for the day and they came from all over the country. One couple even came from Texas and he's nearly 94! :rolleyespink: He still goes into work almost every day and was the head of a chemistry research department at the university. He's over here to go to a symposium at Cambridge as well as seeing the family.

It was a non-stop day of chatting, joking, reminiscing and eating. The weather was just warm enough to be able to sit outside all day (some of them with their coats on :)). I was in and out of the kitchen quite a lot but the food went down very well. :dbgrtmb: Sarafi came and joined in. :cat-kittyandsmiley:

I'm going to take things a bit easy today and we'll go for a walk in the forest before I start mowing for the first time in 10 days. I'll see how my back feels and I'm sure Mrs Shiney will have here beady eye on me. :heehee:

Keep well and have a great day

                      Aloha!

                        Morning early people :)

It is a bit quiet @moyra I expect, like me, folk were out in the garden mostly yesterday, didn't finish weeding till 8pm and still got plenty more to do today.

Enjoy your walk in the forest @shiney better than going for a tramp in the woods :old:

Misty here this morning, but meant to clear up and be sunny :fingers crossed:

Finally fixed the gutter yesterday, just need some rain now.

Have a good day everyone :spinning:

                            Hello everyone,

I'm a bit behind on the forum, I've had a busy couple of days. we were at a wedding reception last night, it was such good fun! My feet & legs ache from dancing! :hapfeet:I've got to go into work shortly, do the grocery shopping then off to my half sisters for her sons 1st birthday, father hasn't been invited so that's good. Next weekend it's my other other step sisters wedding so I have a whole day with father then....I cant say I'm looking forward to that! But I can keep myself out of his way & it's not like I can't chat to other people...chatting is one of my favourite things :heehee:.
Buttercup is still broody! I'm going to lift her out of the nestbox shortly & give her some wet mash.
I hope you are all ok, enjoy your day :grphg:

                                Good morning all

Getting myself into a bit of a tizz over the fancy dress costume for Friday; still haven't put anything together for it and hiring/buying is a bit more pricey than I prefer to pay for a one off event. I was going great guns with the 1940's theme. Decided that I could don some overalls and go as a Land Girl (although feared I'd look more like a Telly Tubby, but "when in doubt, let humour stand out") until I was given the ticket: "40's Theme, Dress to Impress"
That'll be Telly Tubby Land Girls off the agenda then  Now in even more of a tizz over it [IMG]
At least I have sorted how I shall decorate the front of house for the weekend. I *thought* I had a large piece of fabric in my stash that I could make bunting from, but clearly my memory was over optimistic because the fabric I had in mind turn out to be ...
... just one measly fat quarter! I'll over come that by mixing and matching fabrics (probably far more authentic that way too) so all is not lost on the bunting front, at least! If all else fails, I'll just have to decorate the Dolls House and stand that on the front step and call it job done :th scifD36: Why I ever thought it would be a good idea to join in I'll never know

Healing vibes for all who need them and miles of smiles for all xxMxx
