By day I am a Garden Maintenance Man (mostly cutting grass and hedge trimming) and by night I am a Care assistant in a residential home for dementia patients. I do both part time

 

Three things - be easy to get along with (which you've sorted), so that customers will call you back; do what you said you were going to do and at the price stated; leave the place tidy.

Word of mouth will get you more and more work.

A very worthwhile job working in a dementia care home - you're making a real difference to people's lives.

 

Yeah customers are always saying how polite I am and how easy going I am (that's just how I am) basically I'm just terrible at naming flower's and the like which doesn't always look great being a gardener

And I do enjoy working in the care home I am in but it's mentally and psychically draining (hard to explain). It's a rewarding job knowing your helping them and that your there to ease them in there final days, but it does take its toll on you sadly.
