Squirrel away money in tax havens so they are not subject to corporation tax here on the mainland? Or, are the same people who are now coming to light as those who may pay below the minimum wage? There are some good ones; there are some bad ones. It's all about perspective
There is no good and not bad. Only yin and yang. Apparently opposing but complementary aspects of the same single whole. This is just the way. This is Tao. I read something like that in a sort of ladybird book of Taoism once.
Keep up, Pete: Kandy is voting remain based on what ML said Personally, I haven't bothered to read what he has written. He may be a bit of a guru when it comes to screwing over big companies to save a pound or three, but, by his own admission, he is a journalist, not an economist
I never read anything Martin Lewis says. The bloke is a complete "turn off" in my opinion. But he seems to have made a lot of money by being a complete bore.
Same thing. Both make up their own version of the truth based on massive speculation based on the tiniest fragment of rumoured possible truth.
@clueless1 , but logical joined up thinking like this cannot be considered by the outers , when they have Farage , Boris and the Hamiltons to lead them to the promised land
I'm one of the good ones During the Q&A on the Today program this morning Katya Adler (the Beebs European editor) revealed that the chatter in Europe that she is privvy to indicates that the UK will be subject to trade tariffs if we leave.
This was shared on LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/brexit-modern-day-peasants-revolt-john-longworth Some very valid points in there. It's also fascinating reading some of the comments at the bottom. The pro eu comments naturally resort to attempted ridicule without much substance. But that's pretty much the nature of the remain campaign.
Yes @pete my Euro Buddy but that is because they just don't know Look woo has voted to stay in ,for no other reason that it felt right at the time(Gut instinct) if you like, its always worked for me in the past, and saved woo a lot of thinking, too much thinking makes you forget how to laugh Austerity is Austerity in or out enjoy your day my fellow Euro friends
Well they would say that,... wouldn't they? especially at this stage. They are pooing bricks at the moment and joining the bandwagon of "remain" in order to try and keep us in. Wouldn't be the first time a whisper was leaked in order to determine a desired end. And the bbc is, as usual, not entirely neutral, the government's mouthpiece has spoken.
Genuine question for those that are in favour of staying in. The remain campaign insists we should stay in the eu to lead it. Can anyone please give me some examples of cases where Britain has led the EU ?
Just watched the so called debate on ITV. There was the poison dwarf from Scotland spitting out her words, some woman called Eagle, who should be told it's rude to point, and Amber Rudd on the remain side. On the leave side there was Boris the pregnant fish, but the other two women on his side seemed quite sensible, not sure who they were, but I liked them. Amber Rudd often appears on the politics show on Sundays, I think she is kind of local, always thought she was rubbish even on local issues. Personally the two women on Boris's side made it for me. On another note, really good to see Good old John Major and Tony Blair are really good mates these days
Did you notice that literally in the same breath, she said that she hoped Scotland would soon be independent and we're all stronger in the union?
