    I couldn't give two hoots about football - besides having no interest in the game itself, the behaviour of so called 'fans' that surrounds it can only be described as utterly abhorrent. Here we are on the first day, and already the French police have had to get the tear gas out to English fans - oh, and one of the players has been named in a child pornography investigation; if ever there was an 'industry' that needs to clean its act up, it is football.

          I fancy Spain or Germany, although I have Sweden and Slovinia in sweepstakes. My 6 year old son is football mad at the moment and has been studying the Euros with all the free stuff in newspapers, so it has actually added a bit more for me seeing him get enthusiastic over it.
          We have a boys night planned for England's opener tonight. I actually fancy us to go to the Quarter finals.

            I think France will win it on home soil again like in 98'.

            Spain, Germany, Belgium and France definitely have the best squads and will be surprised if that isn't the final four.

            I really do not want the usual suspects to win Germany , Spain and France . I think Belgium at 11/1 may be worth a £5 bet . England are 8/1 but that would really be money down the drain after 50 years of upsets. Then again...........

            Oh our " Beautiful Game"."........Who could criticise this international competition?

            The bringing together of different religions ,politics ,colours , in sporting fierce competition and nobody actually gets killed.
            Also despite the threat of terrorism and a possible Brexit the sport carries on regardless.
            Millions of people all over the world rejoicing in sport.
            What's not to like?
            Of course it's not compulsory.....................but you are going to have a hell of a job avoiding it.
