Opened today

 

I grew it from seeds 3 years ago, this is the first time it has flowered and it certainly is a very interesting looking plant - the flowering stalk/heads keep on sprouting out new ones in different directions, so each head grows bigger and bigger and more and more looks like a hedgehog on a bad-hair day.

I'll collect some seeds if anyone in the forum is interested. Please let me know.

 

How long did your Cistus take to get that big please shiney?

 

Ditto, I've got a small one and it doesn't flower anywhere near as well as that!

I agree with Anthony - that is stunning!

I certainly am!

 

Had some chrysanths still going strong (left over from arrangements I did for a friend's wedding) so added some flowers from the garden. They brighten up the dining room anyway.
