Cheers for the comment. :-) Just got to fit the inside out now and maybe put some guttering on for rainwater so I can collect in water butt to use round the garden.

Very very nice. Looks like you will be able to fit a lot of stuff in there. Congratulations on a great job done!

Guttering... Talk to me... I need to put some on to stop the shed at the base getting so damp.

Anyone fitted guttering to their sheds? Pictures would be good plus ideas of where you got it from.

          Cheers

Hi Guesty that's a nice job well done, its easy enough to install, clips gutter ends and pipe and a water but, i will be fitting some this week on my summer house i will do a step by step tutorial for you,

Homebase/wicks is a good a place as any is not expensive.

I've fitted guttering not only to my shed, but house and garage. As @martin-f says above, its easy enough to do. There are a couple of things to bear in mind however. Make sure that there is a drop (fall) in the guttering to enable the rainwater to flow to the down pipe. I would normally use some kind of silicone sealant on the clip on gutter ends, Not strictly required, but some are known to leak and so partially defeating the whole object.

Theres probably a couple of other things that I have forgotten for the present.

Thanks for the advice. I have a water butt to go in the garden too which will take some of the excess water.

Other than that where should I drain the rest of the run off too?

Will use the silicone sealant, good tip! :-)

Just make sure it is of a waterproof type. Sometimes I also use a paintable car body sealant

Hi Guesty, I personally would use two butts with overflow pipes away from the shed, something like this,

Many thanks for your pm, I feed my lawn and borders every two weeks with this.
