Sorry i'm later this morning 5 to 7 up at the voting station, yes i voted a long long time since i've been there In the daily telegarth, germanys business say they need trade deal if there's a leave vote as jobs will go, well PM has been saying jobs will be lost in the UK things work both ways On the voting form i couldn't find out so i but my X in the leave box
Thank the Lord above, today is the day! I can't wait for the vote in/vote out/remain/leave posters to be taken down, in my opinion they ruin the countryside! I can't wait for all the MP's etc to stop bitching & just imagine watching the news/reading the paper without anyone scaremongering! , sounds like heaven to me! Happy voting peeps
Well I just hope that everyone who has had their say on the matter ( not just on GC but everywhere in all walks of life ) does actually vote. And, remember, for all those out there who don't like David Cameron, he has done something that the likes of all before him failed to do..... He's letting you have your say on the matter.
I had my say early this morning and although I opened up the Polling Station I wasn't the first to vote! I can't vote at my local/nearest Polling Station
I haven't voted yet. After a huge amount of thought, and much research, I want to vote remain. The trouble is, all the bullies want me to vote remain. Going by all the propaganda, I'd be an insular bigoted racist fascist idiot if I voted leave, whereas I'll be a righteous saint with an actual halo and the actual ability to levitate if I vote remain. Now here's the thing. I am an actual idiot. But hopefully not for the reasons that the propaganda machine means. I am an actual idiot because, for example, I train when injured, I've been known to leave a job before securing the next, I've borrowed money to buy rubbish cars. However I don't think I'm an idiot in refusing to kowtow to bullies. Which gives me a problem. I want to vote the way the almost fascist bullies want me to vote. But not because they say I'm a racist bigoted idiot if I don't vote their way, but rather because on balance, I personally think remain is the best option. So if I vote the way I want to vote, I don't want to think I'm the same as all those 'comedians ' that mocked the very notion of leave. But if I vote leave, I don't want to worry that I might have subconsciously only done so in protest. I should point out by the way that my mockery of the propaganda bullies was not a reference to anybody on here. I was referring to the many self righteous arrogant so and sos on telly, on the radio, and on Facebook and YouTube. I've said before, and I stand by it, that the discussion on here has been by far the most civil, objective and informative discussion I've seen or heard on the subject.
@clueless1 whilst I'm not going to tell you how to vote, YOU have to make a decision which is right for you, your family, your children's future etc etc, YOU don't have to tell anyone which way you are voting, regardless of what the bullies say this is YOUR decision not anyone else's, so do the right thing & stop listening to all the cr@p & make your own decision!.
Oh my god you are so right @HarryS, just imagine a British person having to do that job, surely that would be below them wouldn't it?? I must not get started on this one because I shall be bound to say the wrong thing,
Just find a group of youths, and tell them they must NOT remove the posters. They'll be gone faster than you can say 'white satin tracksuits with burberry baseball cap is not a good look'.
The voting station here is very busy this morning; wasn't that busy for the previous elections. It will be interesting when we find out the actual turnout in relation to the GE
He was a Christian (the clue is in the "St" part ). The Catholic faith, to the best of my knowledge, wasn't in the habit of canonising people from other religions (for obvious reasons ).
