    Hi Pam,

The second photo on here " Shrimp Cocktail ", does it give you a lot of multi-coloured or striped flowers ? As that pic looks a bit plain to be SC.

I think your Dancing Flame could do with a bit of sun, it really brings out the orange in it.

I can't say about Eva Boerg as I've never grown it until this year. If you hang on a few weeks we can compare :)

It grows very tall - I've got it tied to a trellis, but it's starting to block the entrance to my cactus house :nonofinger: I'll have to cut it back.

Yours is lovely and mature compared to my little squirt :heehee: Yes, the acid green is a fab colour and a real *pop* of colour amongst everything else. If I forget its name, I'll simply rename it Honeybunny

I bought dancing flame but it hasn't flowered yet though, are they for full sun or part as mine is in mostly shade atm

Also, how deeply rooted are fuchsias, does it depend on the type?

Edit I love your swing time @Anthony Rogers

                          Hi Linz,

No Fuchsia does really well in full sun, but, as it's an Orange variety if you could put it somewhere where it will get good light but a few hours sun every day it will bring out the colours, otherwise it can be a bit pinky/orange. I've put mine where it was last year and it gets afternoon sun from about 2 ish till the sunset.

Can you explain what you mean by how deeply rooted are they ?

They send down a large tap root over time which if they are hardy varieties or species helps them through the Winter.
However, for normal bedding or basket work they are mostly shallow rooted.

The thing to remember if you're planting hardies is to plant them deep, usually around 3" so the crown of the plant isn't sitting at ground level over Winter.

Not sure which one this is, still a little thing which bought at the village plant sale back in May. I'd know the name if I heard it, but can't for the life of me remember.
