Sounds like you too have got the lurgy Shiney, it's difficult to say whether it is this very high pollen count or whether you have got a nasty summer cold. I'm sure mine is down to hayfever,

Hello peeps, yes I am still on planet earth.

Peter is bright eyed and bushy tailed, it's as though nothing happened.

Well, since the plonker reversed in to my car (which is now repaired) the TV
has ceased to be, we do not have a picture, but we can hear what is going on,
(which is sometimes a blessing) The Sky engineer came out to confirm that it
was not the box. So new engineer coming tomorrow to confirm that the TV is caput
because we have a Skycover insurance, it should be covered for us to be given
a new one.
The Peter's shaver also gave up the ghost, so courtesy of Ebay, his new shaver arrived
this morning.

It all happens here, my computer just shut down,but luckily restored the pages
I had better finish now, in case it happens again.

@shiney I hope your nose stops running. It always amazes me after I've had a bad cold and used up several boxes of tissues keeping up with my runny nose, to then get on the weigh scales and discover I haven't lost an ounce! I mean really, it's not just water....

Been having busy days and am out of town tomorrow. I'm going to the dirt dudes today to arrange to have some garden soil delivered. I need 2 cubic yards to fill the new raised garden kits that arrived more than a week early.

I also am going to plant the seedling that I bought at the Whistling Gardens yesterday - this is what it will hopefully look like in a year or so...isn't it lovely!

I've had a real out and about day today, but, it was mostly garden related Finally managed to track down some Bronze Fennel - I *knew* I'd bought some from the garden centre near to where I used to live for my previous garden; I was right - but that is *after* I'd bought seeds I was sooooo busy out and about ... I missed a lunch with one of the groups I belong to completely, utterly forgot Hope they forgive me

@liliana - never rains but it pours, eh? Glad Pete is back to full strength; health is the priority!

Shiney, you really need to rest up, the cold or sinus whatever it is, is not good going to your chest, can be worse in summer months, mind you who would believe this is summer?

I was supposed to have a friend visit this morning with her new puppy however Amber has been sick twice so thought it unadvisable without knowing what has caused it to cancel the visit to be on the safe side.

Lili, your life is so full, how do you cope? Have a good day all, take care and look after yourselves. God bless.

A dismal start today, rain forecast

My back is worse today, it's giving me Sciatica down both legs. I only
have to bend over the bed to tuck the blanket in and my back is out for the day.

I wish this weather would cheer up, blimey 1st of July, it's more like September

I have had some busy days and today is going to be a wonderful busy day starting off with attending a swearing in ceremony at one of our lakeside parks. My future daughter in law is taking her oath of Canadian citizenship today which is Canada Day. This is going to be the best Canada Day I have ever celebrated. Must remember to take tissues with me as I know that I will cry with tears of pure joy!
