They're more likely to steal the sign, Michael, and leave a beer can on the floor.:dunno::snorky:

Potted on the only solanum laciniatum seedling that germinated.
Potted on a couple of Washingtonia robusta palms that I grew from seed I collected on holiday a couple of years ago.

After the heavy rain eased into a thick driving drizzle, I went down to one of my Perspex shelters and repotted some Auriculas. It was not possible to do anything outside ... again !

Arrived home after a wet and then very gusty day. First thing I saw was the sunshade had been lifted from the patio table - and completed a perfect karate chop on our little Marguerite standard bush :gaah:
I have put it back together with Duck tape, so should be OK

It feels very homily sitting in the polytunnel whilst rain pitter pats down, not that I'll be moving in mind unless I'm ordered that is :psnp:

I cut back the old Geranium that was overflowing the front path and cutting it off. Then I started pruning the 35 year old Pyracantha at the front of the House which was also starting to bar people from getting to the Front Door:hate-shocked:, but I only managed to prune back the path side due to the fact that it's also known as Hotel Pyracantha and although I thought they had stopped nesting it still had birds residing in it, they were actually flying in and out over my shoulder.......so I stopped immediately and just put the pruning into a sack, and went for a :coffee:. It'll be August before I tackle it again.:snorky:

Yesterday Mrs Shiney did loads of repotting (about 50 plants), weeding and watering and feeding.

I pottered around talking to the runner beans, did a lot of lawn edging, weeded 300sq ft of beds and filled a wheelie bin with weeds.

Planted out the rest of the summer bedding, just before the heavens opened, perfect timing!
