2016 Tomato Growing

With risk of getting a spam warning, here comes two closer pics of
what I talked about earlier. Witch I assume is caused by irregular watering?

I'm afraid to say that your tomatoes are going to struggle in that situation. There's simply not enough light for them to do well.

 

Really? Well im not giving up on them thats for sure

Was just thinking about putting them out. But since I would need
to place them far from home, it would only be a visit / week and
there is no protection from animals etc. so guess I just have to stick with it
and hope for the best.

 

I have a suggestion...move to Spain

 

Have lived in Portugal and liked it a lot.
However theres more to life than tomatoes..

 

Here are a couple of my greenhouse plants:
Teton de Venus (very sweet with virtually no seeds) Black Russian megabloom fused fruit.

Ironically the first Black Russians to ripen will be those outdoors. The ones in the GH aren't getting enough light as the GH is oriented North-South.

 

Just got 500g of epsom salt. Was thinking that it couldnt hurt given
the fact that I have my ladies indoors. Are there any reason to give some
to my tomatoe plants thats already in flowers with some fruits?

Or should it only be given at the very start of flowering?

Okey so the benetits only kick in when theres a visible lack of it, on the plants?

Gave them a smaller dose earlier to see..
Just took a bath as well & gave my two strawberry plants a bit bigger dosage
to see how they react

 

@Magnus Yes, Epsom salts only work if magnesium deficiency is limiting their growth.

 

Gotcha! Will take some more baths in it then. Now.
How about that tomato baby?

Think I will set up some sort of "oxygen mask" for the plants
in the window as well, harder in English but the same way you start off with beer, I think.

 

Gutted have lost all six of my tomato plants they produced loads and loads of fruit but all toms had rotten bottoms is this blight ? I don't know where I went wrong I really looked after them didn't over water feed them the correct amount any advise for next year ? Many thanks

 

It looks like Blossom End Rot. This is caused by irregular watering. You say you lost all the plants, what was wrong with them?

 

They were looking really healthy and growing really well then there leaves started to curl up then just started going brown from the bottom up I watered them then let them nearly go dry before next water and feed them once a wk with seaweed tea don't know what went wrong
