I have done my micro-bet, just to get my feet wet in the betting world...:snorky:

There will be a match between Germany and Italy and one between France and Iceland and to be on the safe side (where I always like to be) I have betted that both teams in both competition will score.

I have learned that if I had picked a team right from the start of the euro 2016 competition (too late now) I would have won something everytime the team does well.

There are so many options to bet on...but I guess they are for people more expert than me.:ccheers:

Bobby Charlton was asked how he thought the England team of '66 would have fared against Iceland. " I think we'd have won 1-0 " he replied.
    "Only 1-0?" Said the reporter.
"Yes," said Bobby. "Most of us are in our 70's & 80's now!"

I personally do not think that Roy Hogson can be blamed for the players performance. If professional footballers in a match cannot control the ball, move into space to receive the ball, cross the ball into the box, pass the ball 5 yards to a team mate then how can he influence this from the side line. He is however 100% to blame for the players not knowing the system they are playing, strengths of the opposition and who should be marking who in a set piece. He is also 100% at fault for not making the 3rd substitution until the 85th minute, it wasn't working there needed to be a change earlier. It comes to something when the sub that came on with 5 minutes to go was our best player. As for a new manager, nobody springs to mind who I would like to see.

Watched the Welsh game last night, probably the best game of the tournament so far. They went 1 goal down and got stuck in and look at what happened. They got there tactics right all new there job and beat one of the favourites to get to the semi finals.

            Well done to them.

            Rusty

              first things first...well done wales!

my bet @JWK is for today as well as tomorrow on both teams to score in both matches and Germany winning the championship. this last idea originating from some feedback i had around how well the teams are playing.

I reckon it will be Wales vs Italy in the final. With Wales to win. As for England, you cannot blame the manager, he wasn`t on the pitch. It was the fault of the pampered, multi millionaire poseurs.

i thought that Italy-Germany tonight was an unexciting game and after all the never ending overtimes for all sort of reasons i was just happy to go to sleep.

I was looking forward to this game, especially how they had played in group games, as you say though it was very unexciting. I fancied the Italians to go all the way, that my money gone now.
