This is a main crop variety so won't be ready till late summer, wait for the foliage to turn yellow and die back before harvesting.

Is there any white fungal threads underneath the leaves?

@"M" that looks like magnesium deficiency, easily corrected with Epsom Salts.

Catch it now and it should not affect yield or quality by spraying with Epsom Salts (ask for Magnesium Sulphate at the chemists). Dissolve ½ oz in a pint of water (20g/litre) and apply as a foliar spray each day for a week - quantities don't have to be exact. The effect is very quick in a few days the plant should pick up.

Are those early spuds? If so it might be they are ready to harvest.

If not that could be Blight or Blackleg - both are obviously serious. Can you get a closer photo of the affected stem and leaf - both sides?

I'd be inclined to cut off the dying foliage and dispose (not compost) then spray with Bordeaux mixture - you need to be quick though as blight can wipe out the whole crop in a couple of days. If it spreads you need to remove all the foliage to stop it getting to the tubers then at least you will have some crop.

They are International Kidney, and they were planted in March and have not yet flowered - would they be ready so soon?

I did wonder if it was wind damage - they took a right old battering with the wind and thunderstorms we've had over the past few weeks. I will strip the dead stuff off tomorrow and bag and bin it.

I have no idea where I would get bordeaux mixture around here - I will have to look in the garden centre

They don't always flower and given that is a second early it could well be ready. Time for a furtle - I reckon you'll be pleasantly surprised given the amount of rain and warmth we have had.
