When to plant Cauliflower seed's

    Is it possible to plant cauliflower seeds now I know you can get all the year round varieties so when can you plant them and when would they be ready for harvesting.

    Don't think you can sow during the summer, need to wait till October.

    If I sowed the seeds in October in trays in the greenhouse would it then be ok to transfer to my allotment when they are big enough.

    Yes, once germinated move them to a cold frame over winter and transplant in the spring for harvest next Summer.

    Could the same procedure apply to things like Broccolli,Spring Cabbages or Kale or even sprouts.

    Start those seeds off a bit earlier - mid to late summer, they are hardier plants than Cauliflower so you transplant them to their final position in the autumn.
