    Thanks @Kandy unfortunately it was just too far for a sharp pic with my camera. It seems to be the star attraction at the reserve being so visible.:smile:

        I haven't seen many Ladybirds this Summer (?) let alone the larvae! Looks like there is plenty of food for it.:blue thumb:

          There's always plenty of mobile food for the Ladybirds and the Larvae in the garden, and while I have seen as many, yet, as last year[​IMG]
          but one can hope!!

              This is the Pleasant Pheasant that comes and "chortles" to me while I'm at the Churchyard.

              He really is a handsome bird, [and he knows it!], but being able to see the plumage and finery so close up is amazing.:coffee::snorky:

                  It's a small Method Church, Jiffy, on the outside of the Town surrounded by fields with Cows, Sheep and crops so there's always plenty of wildlife , although this is the first year a Pheasant has claimed it as his territory. I'm a non believer, I'm afraid, while my Wife was a Welsh Methodist [non practising] who always said it felt more natural to pray in a field than a Church! But, despite being a non believer, being able to see the artwork and design in my friend the Pheasant's plumage so close up......it makes you think!!:coffee::snork:
