Very hot here now despite having some rain this morning over at the lottie,and we are now podding six carrier bags of broad beans Mr Kandy picked this morning

 

23c and we need some rain

 

This is our temperature at this moment in time and according to the weather forcast on Countryfile we are going up to 33c by Tuesday. I know I need the sun for my bones but that is a tad too hot for my fair skin.Going to have to abandon the quilt at night as it is only going down to 20c by bedtime... By the way as I am an Imperial girl will have to have a Google to find out what 33c is in EnglishHere are the broad beans now we have podded them

I seem to remember we had a one off of 37C last year.
So 33C should be a doddle.

 

Thanks @pete I did see that by the end of the week we would be back down again. We had this sort of weather on The Isle of Wight a few years ago and it nearly killed us,it was that hot so hopefully will be cooler by the time we go

 

A beautiful summer's morning walk around a reservoir near Barnstaple ------ except we couldn't see much of it!!! Mist and poor visibility and only 20c.
Later back in Wareham it was sunny and 24c

 

Some amazing cloud formations today interspersed with a good deal of sunshine, 20C/68F.

 

Well we had 28 deg today.

Forecast for us 30 / 34 / 28 for the next three days.

Stroll on on Thursday , a more reasonable 24 deg.

The way it's going it'll be Christmas by the time we get any rain. It's coming up to 9 weeks now except for the odd drop on three days over the last fortnight.

I really am giving up on my Fuchsias now for this year. Except for the hardys I've started to get them out and pot them up again.
I've never done this before September in my life before. Time to find a new favourite I think.
