How can I keep anything brief? Talking is my most favourite thing!

Good morning,

Beautiful day here , I think the summer has arrived .

I think I might have a puncture/slow puncture or maybe the tyre which I had repaired the other day hasn't been repaired properly (lord help the tyre company if that's the case!). I needed the compressor out of the workshop so I could pump it up but I couldn't manage to move the saw bench, I gave in after a while of trying various different ways to move it, I rang Kev who kindly popped home from work to help me (just what he needed when he's so busy) anyway I'm on the road, the spare is in the boot should I need it, hopefully I won't. I'm of course now an hour behind schedule .

I didn't get any time in the garden yesterday, I worked late with Kev, his job list doesn't seem to be reducing, we seem to cross off one job & three more get added! , of course I'm not grumbling but my goodness I'm tired .

I hope you are all ok. Please please be careful in this heat, DONT overdo it!

Said the kettle to the pot?

Took #1 son to his interview today While the interview was taking place, his Dad and I drove off to visit the kennels where we had adopted Ozzy, just for a little look around. Shouldn't have done it really, I fell in love with Boris, an 18mth old Doberman Mr "M" dragged me out of there pronto before I could make any formal enquiries I'm hoping Boris finds his forever home because he is a real character! Just wish it could have been here *sighs* On the up side, they had posters up advertising this years Fayre, so I've pencilled that into my diary. If the weather is kind, I'll take Ozzy, but if it is too hot, he'll have to stay at home. Well, as I can't have Boris I'll just have to support their fayre and add to their funds that way

This evening I shall be spending time in the garden with #1 son (when it cools a little more) and then he's back to Lincoln tomorrow for the final couple of weeks.

Good morning everyone, too hot already this morning. Have heart heartedly walked Amber but really too hot for both of us and I have still got my gammy knee and the ankle on the same leg is killing me too. Have taken ibuprofen and will rub volterol into it too. Hope everyone is ok and not suffering. Stay cool and above all safe,

Well read all the messages for the past week, and a lot has gone one, bought for you
all and for the world in general.

Well, I now have Arthritis all over. X-ray last week, bad hip, giving me Sciatica
all the way down to my toes, I keep feeling like I am going to fall over as I have
tingly toes. More medication.

I shall make the most of the lovely hot weather (when I lived in Cyprus it was like
this all summer long)

Make sure you all take things slowly, lots of billowy loose garments, and drink plenty
of water.

I too have been catching up on the goings on as well. I seem to be very flighty about which threads I follow each day!

It is going to be another stifling hot week but luckily it is dry and has been cooling down quite nicely at night. Toward the end of the week, the humidity is going to build, but along with that we're hoping for some free water from Mother nature.

Picked a good day to do a re roof yesterday

Even with a hat, shorts and factor 50 sunblock we were only lasting 30 minutes at a time before having to take a break.

Taking it easy today.
