We have 'What's buzzing or flying......' Perhaps this thread could be used for general pictures of land or water animals. :)

I spotted this today and it seemed large for a rabbit, could it be a hare?

I'd say it's a rabbit Sheal. Looks like it could have myxomatosis too.

Thanks Trunky, there was a second one that looked exactly the same sitting with it for a while.

A couple of these slithered by on my hike up the Glen this afternoon, 6 hours and a climb of 700 metres on a hot day.

A great picture @burnie. :dbgrtmb: I'll have to get used to seeing snakes again when I move to Scotland, there aren't any here on the island.

The hills seem to be quite full of them just now, not just me seeing them(though I do go hunting for them).

I would never go hunting for snakes @burnie, they are the only reptile I can't bear, for some reason they revolt me.

Myxi has to be one of the vilest things mankind has down to nature. I hope the sicko`s responsible for creating this suffered some kind of ill fortune in their lives as a result.

I grew up on a farm as a kid and saw hundreds of rabbits suffer from this over the years. A painfull way of making an animal starve to death.

Taken through glass - I had a couple of visitors in the garden of my temporary home today. This is the same animal, it's friend being camera shy.

Wall Lizard sunning itself at Durlston Country Park this morning. A non native reptile but now thriving along certain parts of the Dorset coast.
