                Yesterday when I walked down to the bottom of the garden I saw a lovely site. We have our new flower bed just past the shed and as I got to the end of the shed I saw five baby wrens playing in the bed. I was able to watch them for about 10 seconds before they spotted me and then they all flew off - right through the chicken wire fence between us and next door. They flew through the wire holes with no trouble at all. :)

                Early this morning I was out picking runner beans in the drizzle. I was wearing a wide brimmed hat to keep the rain off my glasses (don't have windscreen wipers). One end of the Shineyframe I was working on is just under a big plum tree and I could hear a bird cheeping but couldn't recognise the sound at all. Suddenly it dropped down onto my hat and it felt as if he was bouncing up and down. I kept perfectly still (not easy when you're giggling) and he was there for about a minute. :dbgrtmb:

                  He/she was eating ants as we have lots of ants here, they're in the lawn, patio and around the poo pit, we nomally get 3 green woodies most days :yahoo:
