Got some work lined up for Thursday week so hoping my foot is better enough to get me boots on by then, still looking a bit ugly

Good morning everyone, the sun is coming up and hopefully with it so will the temperatures. Quite chilly at the moment. My legs and knees very bad after a heavy working day yesterday. Glad H is slowly improving, do hope she soon recovers, unlike her to be so poorly.
Zigs, hope your foot soon recovers properly.

It's turned quite chilly, I woke up in the night quite cold, hopefully it will start to warm up soon .

I've got lots of washing to do today, I'm going to make a start on that before the skip arrives....hopefully I won't have to wait too long, I want to get on with it now.

I still have two broody hens I'm going to lock them both out of the coop today to try to break the habit, the only trouble with that is they are both so cross & attack the other hens & the cat, women & hormones hey!!!

My head aches, and not a drop of alcohol yesterday.

Ah well, soldier on, shopping this morning, coffee with the girls this afternoon.

#1 son has been accepted on a Masters Degree so back to Lincoln for him.

Still doing battle with the bindweed (courtesy of neighbour who does beggar all in his garden); no sooner have I cleared one lot then I discover another - sneaky perishers they are too!

Morning all, hope everyone is well and on form.
A bit fresher here this morning, suits me fine as I don't like the heat.
Just been and had a haircut, didn't take long as he hasn't got much to work with.

My day off today, so I'm taking Mrs Trunky and daughter for a day out, we're going to Cressing Temple in Essex. Never been there before so should be interesting, I'll try to get some photos of the gardens while I'm there.

Good day everyone
We're expecting a hot day and in preparation we have closed up the house, lowered the shades and got the central air running. I'll be glad when the heat wave passes as I really prefer having windows open whenever possible.

Going to try to repair a shade for a client later this morning. It is long out of warranty and I don't know if I have the correct replacement parts because her description of the problem and my interpretation of same, may not be the same...
