There was one creeping up behind Willow in the river

 

They like to grow in damp places. They grow around here in wet ditches, but I didn't take mine from the wild. I bought it in a garden center

 

Didn't think you would have Michael You wouldn't have recognised the Latin name if you'd nicked it

 

Did you know that I prefer the Latin names and am one of the few people who remember them better than the English names ?

Finally I get the first bloom of the year on Solanum rantonnetii and it is somewhat eaten!


This seed grown Digitalis was supposed to be D.lutea but it looks like it may be a cross between D.lutea and possibly D.grandiflora which was growing nearby.............


Salvia urica is a late blooming Salvia..................


Finally an unknown Amaranthus that germinated in the pot of a plant that @PeterS sent me..........
