Every year they build up to the metal lock on my caravan tow hitch.

It gets heated by the sun so they use it as central heating.

This is astrange country, small but so diverse. Never seen ants in my garden and only 2 snails in 25 years ?
Im guessing the birds eat anything before it gets a chance to multiply?

I get slugs eating away at my cucumber plants lol, i just sprinkle a couple of slug pellets around the plant and that normall does the trick. Anyway back to your question lol i am really surprised that the ant spray and ant bait were not enough. The only product that i can recommend for you is this ant killer and disinfectent bottle. It comes alreay premixed and it is to be used like a watering can. This should hopefully get rid of the ants for good!
