    A friend used to grow them and said he always found it worth waiting until two to three weeks after the tops were killed by frost.

      Wouldn't have thought to leave them 2 or 3 weeks after the frost, that's useful to know :thumbsup:

        Hasn't grown more than 1/4" in the last few days, so thought I'd cut it before the Were Rabbit gets it. Takes up full width of my Zaffy's boot.

            We've got a very rampant patty pan squash growing in the veg plot. We didn't plant it but it's covering a large area and is just becoming very full of fruit.
