    Can I ask why the sudden interest? also isn't this information easily available from server logs?

    I use mostly Chrome but do occasionally log in using Tapatalk on my Android phone

      @IceColdRum Some members have been having trouble accessing their accounts because there are some nasty people out there. :sad: The Mods are trying to see which is the best way to get around it. :blue thumb:

        I use my mobile (iPhone) most of the time, when I'm at home I use my iPad. I can't always get everything on my phone, but that doesn't matter I can soon catch up once I'm home :dbgrtmb: (Does that actually make sense??? I think it's a bit Suffolk!! :loll:)

              Couldn't have put that better myself. It is very easy to jump to an idea as a solution to a problem, but often doing so can also cause trouble for valuable members, which we don't want to do.

              In addition, the servers log what IP addresses are being used, but they do not store information on the browser being used.

                  I use chrome on my android phone. I never access gc via a conventional pc or laptop since I gave up the laptop at least 2 years ago.

                  I tried crapatalk but it's just dire so I binned it. I reinstalled it by accident recently when installing another app. It was a carp, and then I noticed on loading it said in small print, powered by crapatalk, so I deleted that too.

                  In terms of connectivity, about 90% of the time I'm on my plusnet broadband. 10% of the time on three mobile. An insignificant amount of time via free WiFi wherever I happen to be that offers it.

                  My experience is generally fine. Performance and responsiveness of the site is good even on a small screen. Only problem I've had was today when out and about and I was briefly ip banned.

                        Microsoft Edge suits me fine on W10. Previously I used IE on W7 as Chrome and Firefox just didn't function properly for me.
