Hi Sharon, welcome to Gardeners Corner and being part of the GC Gang. Just take your time and have a wander around the forums. The main thrust of GC is gardening but you'll find we like to "discuss" other subjects as well. You'll find all the GC Gang are very friendly and there's all levels of gardeners here from the outright beginner to the very knowledgeable and experienced, those gardening from a balcony to those with an acre or two of land. So just take your time and ask anything you like..........except for a Hobnob from the Office Biscuit Tin as Ziggy counts them.

Don't worry about being unsure of the site - we are all here to help you, so ask anything you need to. I will admit to being very biased, but I truly believe that the GC members are the best of any internet forum - you will not find a more friendly, honest and helpful bunch.

 

Post a thread in the Identification Area - http://www.gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/forums/identification-area.101/

That will get it the maximum views for your photos. Hopefully someone like @Silver surfer will be along to help you.

Incidentally, as you get to know us all, you will soon find out who has knowledge in each different area - if you want to bring something to a specific member's attention, all you need to do is 'tag' them in your post by typing @ followed by their name - so to tag you, I would put @sharonr - that way, they will get an alert that tells them someone has mentioned them
