Good old music.

 

I can remember everyone of those so I'm old with you

 

Nothing like music to make you feel old.
Have you heard any of the modern stuff.

Has a life span of around three weeks.

 

They're just showing up as black squares on my phone :(

What are they ?

I love 50's and 60's music and I was bought up in the 70's and 80's.

All good 60's ( except for Fleetwood Mac - 80's..... How did that creep in there lol ).

I was expecting older though. ( I like a lot of the 50's such as Johnny Ray, Guy Mitchell, Frankie Laine and early 60's like Roy Orbison and Billy Fury ).

I can't believe that my favourite three records are 60 yrs old ( Elvis Presley - Heartbreak Hotel ), 56 yrs old ( The Drifters - Save the last dance for me ) and 51 yrs old ( Righteous Brothers - You've lost that loving feeling ).

Never heard of him.

I grew up following Abba, and later Motown, but my favourite was an English group ( don't know if you'd have heard of them over there ) called Smokie .

 

If it had been a pre Munich incident (March 1970) Fleetwood Mac number, it would have been acceptable.

Dont forget the great songs from other bands around 1970...Love Sculpture, Lindisfarne
