Newbie....

    Hello everyone.
    I'm just introducing myself and tentatively stepping into the world of gardening.
    This is not before time..... I'm only 59!!
    Up until now I've not really been interested in gardening and have only had a couple of hanging baskets, which the local nursery always do for me.
    My mother is a true green fingered lady with a huge garden and allotments that she does all on her own. I never thought I'd be interested in gardening at all. I have really surprised myself to find I share my mum's enjoyment in gardening, albeit on a much smaller scale.
    I look forward to browsing the forum.......

        I am familiar, however my username harks back to the very early days of online forums - when I joined one for the first time, I was a bus service controller and slightly 'cuddly' in stature (still am!), hence fat controller - - it has stuck with me ever since, and I have never been known under any other username anywhere
