      The sun is shining brightly and the temperature is already 66F. It's going to be a very hot afternoon at the bridge club :rolleyespink: :phew: They've forecast almost 30C for the next three days. :sad: So I'll only be bouncing gently. :snork:

      Mrs Shiney has friends for lunch so they will eat in the garden if it isn't too hot by then.

            Temperature has just reached 84F/29C :phew:. Too hot for lunch in the garden. So a quick lunch and then off to bridge.

                                Thought my days of paddling pools were long behind me but had to go out and buy one yesterday for Oz! Poor soul is suffering a bit in this heat wave; didn't need to be told twice to get in it :heehee:
                                So now, it's performing double duty: during waking hours for Ozzy to cool his paws; during the night for me to stand some of the planted pots in :dbgrtmb:
                                :think2: Actually, I may even use it for to dip my own toes into! :dancy:
