I think I've got a few of those slate coasters lying around.

    Its pretty much winter here.
Strong Northerly blowing, overcast with a spot of rain in the wind from time to time
    15.5C
    Heating on tonight I'm thinking.

It's rained quite a bit this morning and the sky is very grey. Definitely a nip in the air but I refuse to put any heating on: yet!

'M' We did give in a couple of weeks ago and had the heating on one evening as it got quiet chilly and we gave I as even Mr Kandy was cold which is unusual for him:snorky:

I think we got the coasters up at Honister slate mines in the Lake District or we could hVe bought them in Zomerset but can't quiet remember. Mines the Kingfisher one and Mr Kandy likes the Collie one...:snorky:

No heating to put on here.

Aah, lake district slate, same colour as the Blaenau Ffesteringhog quarry I used to work in :spinning:

They make great offensive frisbies if you absolutely positively have to kill every one in the room, accept no subsitutes:catapult:

Never go to Wales, you need half a pint of phlegm in your throat just to ask directions and the hillsides are full of men terrorising people with their close harmony singing

As a good part of Britain was being lashed/splashed by rain I was driving north to Inverness-shire and into wonderful sunshine. The last two days have been perfect, 17C/63F.

A sunny and warm start but cloud moved in mid afternoon. Rain threatened for a few hours but the sun reappeared an hour before sunset. 20C/68F
