After watering the garden, I have just been sitting inside working on my latest music tracks. It's sometimes tedious sitting in front of mixing desk just to 'get it right' but so rewarding when it happens. I will go to bed a happy but tired bunny. For me, I get as much enjoyment from my guitar playing, as I do from the garden.

Both, inspire me and I combine the two. That probably sounds silly but just sitting in the garden is my way to thinking and writing new tunes. Also while listening to them gives me the get up and go to move plants to a different place according to mood.

Just rambling on after a good day with both. Time for bed.

Doesn't sound silly to me at all Russ; I think gardening is a wonderful time for reflection and creative thinking.

What genre of music do you write?

Glad you went to bed a happy bunny; hopefully that means you will have a restful, restorative night.

Thank you@ "M". I certainly slept well. I write and record rock music but without vocals as I just can't sing! Oh if only.

Plenty famous people cant sing either, but it doesnt stop them, and they make plenty money at not being able to. So get singing...

He got in trouble with his singing, and found himself in Dire Straights....:roflol:

As a famous man once said " I cant help about the shape I'm in, I cant sing, I ain't pretty, and my legs are thin..." He could play guitar though...

instantly thought of brothers in arms! As good as it is, it's just as awful.

Get on it, Courtney Love can't sing she's still making music?!

Try telling that to the BBC. They actually banned this one in the early 1960's...

I wonder if anyone can guess why? :dunno: :)

Well its a take on Swan lake , but was this reason to ban it ? The BBC was very very stuffy in them days though.

To them it was! I cant remember the exact reason, but something to do with degrading classical music.

I have no idea why it was banned (except possibly isn't the tune from a Russian ballet? ) but it is quite cool. It sounds a lot like the shadows.
