As per title, the message I get is it is due to a long running script.

I know winter is coming and you need to lag your pipes, but, please may we not have forum lag? :heehee:

Must admit I'm finding it slow going since we couldn't get on the forum a week or so ago.

Seems fine to me using this windows 7 starter notebook. My other notebook was updated to windows 10 and it can grind to a halt especially after start up for about an hour.

What system are you running ?

I think you'll find it's more due to your area and network being responsible for the lagging, "M", than GC being the cuprit. I've have no issues whatsoever during the last weeks on any of the sites I've been frequentlng.:dunno::scratch::doh::snorky:

Wouldn't hurt to restart a few threads though. Google can't index something that's still running.

I'll have a look thru :pcthwack:

Anyone with pm's running over 100 pages, could you start new ones there too :spinning:

Windows 8 works for me, you just need to get used to it.
Certainly dont want to go all through the hassle of changing to 10.

If my computer ever comes up with the message 'long running script' I just click on OK and everything seems to carry on as normal. :noidea:

I haven't the faintest what it's talking about but just assume it fancied a chat. :)

I'm running, happily, on W7 but have had to install a separate part of the computer with
W'98 so that I can run some of the older hardware that can't be updated.

Since the last Windows update, I am having a lot of lag all over the place, mostly to do with graphics or images. On some sites, I have to scroll up or down one notch on the scroll wheel to get the images to appear - oddly, GC works absolutely fine.
