I've been watching this 'craze' develop over the last month or so. I think it's quite a dangerous thing to do - for the person dressed up as the clown. You just don't know how people will react if they suddenly feel scared/threatened. The next thing we'll be hearing is that someone dressed up as a scary clown has been beaten up by the person they have 'pranked'. Still, they won't do it a second time.
Just read about it. They deserve a prison sentence. This sort of thing is not funny at all, is dangerous, intimidating and could cause serious mental and physical damage. Mrs Shiney's usual solution for this sort of thing is that they should be hung upside down by their goolies.
I was just picturing what would happen if I was working with Mr Snuggles the Claw Hammer and I turned round and came face to face with a scary clown I don't think it would bother Mr Snuggles very much but it wouldn't bode well for the clown.
Be easier to dress up as a badger and go out at night during a cul, at least you'd get shot rather than horribly wounded.
I'd not heard of this till today, seems its some American "thing", that has crossed the water. Kind of like the stupid idea of Trick or Treat. I'm guessing there will be loads more clowns around now the BBC have done the publicity for the idea. Lets just hope we get a few clowns get beaten to within an inch of their lives, and it dies out as rapidly as it started.
It's just something that appeals to those of possibly limited intelligence and a need to be the centre of attraction and a possible sign of the times. This could be something dreamt up by Corbyn and his Shadow Cabinet.
