Rhino charging my way

My new Rhino will be charging up the motorway in early October, gone for the 8 x 12 premium which I'm having fitted directly to the levelled soil. I was contemplating growing everything in bags/containers, but was advised by one of our fellow gardeners to use the ground as well. I can spend the autumn/winter getting everything ready for next season, with an early start. Plan to have a grape along the ridge with the roots planted outside of the g/house, so that could be my first purchase.

It looks really well made and I'm sure it will be too small once I start growing, but as you can see, not a lot of room for a bigger one without grubbing out shrubs(which act as wind breaks as I'm near the coast.
I was going to put a grape in there, but I'm having second thoughts about that, plenty of time to plan it all out and get the soil prepared. I intend to grow in containers and use the ground as well, so I can manage watering and not worry if we are away(thanks for that advice Silu).

 

It looks really solid...I don't think any coastal wind is going to blow it away! I've had my eye on a Rhino but haven't been able to get one yet as we've been concentrating on the new house - a new kitchen is going in next. I can't wait to get into the garden properly and make a start. I know what you mean about greenhouse size. It's always best to get a good sized one and you can grow plenty in an 8x12. I'm thinking of getting that size myself.

I don't know if you bought one Fern4, but I have to say I am impressed with mine, very good quality that is standing up to some pretty tough windy coastal conditions and the 8 x 12 is a great size to grow enough tomatoes, chillies and a decent crop of Sweetcorn for most folks needs.

 

Glad your Rhino is doing it's stuff like mine. I can't get into mine without a struggle atm as everything has grown huge as per. You might remember it was quite full (bulging) when you saw it @burnie. Well it's worse this year.
That's mine been up for 3 years now and just as solid as the day it was put up very well by the same fitter as you got. Danny is a hard working wee guy who I've known for many years.

 

Just an update on the Rhino, even with some serious heat, the crops have been excellent, tomatoes included Supersweet 100, Sungold, Red Cherry, Red Plum and Gardeners delight, all cropped well with some quite tasty fruits, though the Red Cherry weren't that special taste wise.
The Sweet Corn was really good again and this year I've tried growing some Butternut squashes, they are growing well, but not ripe yet.

 

Been a while since I last updated the going on in my greenhouse, health problems getting in the way. I have put a couple of home made videos on youtube if anyone wants to catch up with what I'm doing. Hope all are well and the drought is not too severe.
