          Aloha everyone,

          Moyra, I only pottered around the garden yesterday. Fed the birds and then trimmed all the lawn edges. Sarafi accompanied me most of the time and I had to be careful that he didn't trip me up. He seemed to just want to have a chat and he said a lot more than I did. :heehee:

          I took the car to the garage to get the wheel arch protector fitted (an extremely big piece of gear) and they dropped me back home (only two miles away). Got home in time for lunch and Sarafi was still waiting for me. So he got a chicken wing tip from the chicken soup. :) He then spent the next ten hours asleep in the greenhouse and only came out to greet me when I came home from bridge at 11.30 p.m. He got a quick stroke and no food - I'm not supposed to feed him :nonofinger:. When I was wandering around at 3.30 this morning he was at the back door miaowing. He got a quick stroke and a 'No food!' He gets an A+ for trying :snork:

          Seeing a load of cousins today so no gardening - unless they will come and help. :th scifD36: :nonofinger: :snorky:

              Hoping the showers will hold off today, we're scarifying lawns this week, need it to stay dry for that. :fingers crossed:

                We had a good day yesterday with a lot of cousins. :blue thumb:

                got someone coming round this afternoon to look at our bathroom as some of the cupboard fronts have discoloured in the sunshine. They're a white wood grain effect and have started to go yellowish. I hope the price to replace them won't be too scary :fingers crossed:

                    Not a lot to report really; #1 son is still job hunting. He spent the day in London at an assessment centre for one job and they said they would get back to him next week. This should also overlap with another job (interviewed via Skype) who also planned to get back to him next week. Not only do I hope he gets a job for his own sake, but this job hunting/interviews/assessment centre malarkey is not a cheap affair! :th scifD36:

                    Until she asks for it back ;) :heehee:

                            Mrs Shiney has been given two free tickets for the theatre. It's for the satirical show 'Factor 2025' which was a sell-out in the West End. :blue thumb: It's only right that she gets them for being such a lovely person :wub2: :).

                            I'm not sure that I'll be doing much in the garden today - but we'll see. :noidea:
