The Forum is very quiet!!

    The GC forum's a bit quiet these days. I know it's not really gardening season but where is everyone? What are you all doing and how are you all? :snork:

    I'm not very well (depression) but have tried to crack on at the new house. There's still a lot to do and a new kitchen is being fitted before Xmas hopefully :yikes: I'll be glad when everything is all sorted. :rolleyespink:

      Yes, it has been a bit quiet recently.

      Sorry to hear you are under par :grphg: You've certainly had a lot on your plate with moving and getting things sorted. Adding a new kitchen into the mix before Christmas isn't going to be a walk in the park either! But, when it is in and sparkly new, it will be wonderful :thumbsup:

          I know how you feel Fern4 - some years ago I packed in work for 6 months due to stress/depression - things will get better :blue thumb:

            Sorry to hear you aren't feeling great @Fern4 :grphg: - hopefully getting your new kitchen won't be too stressful for you, and hope you feel better soon.

            I have been somewhat busy, firstly with my new (hopefully to be permanent) job which has different hours, and working at the weekends also - I am off for the next six days though, so will be popping in whenever I can in between getting the house and garden sorted for the winter.

                  I don't know what's happening.

                  This is one of the most beautiful times of the year and yet hardly anyone's putting any photos up.

                  Doesn't anyone grow Asters, Chrysanthemums, Schyzostilus ( I never could spell that one ), Crocus, Colchicum, Fuchsias etc anymore.

                  And what about all the Autumn foliage ? Where's all that this year ?

                        I keep on loosing my camera to pc lead so no piccies from me and my printer hates my computer as I do too :wallbanging:

                        To get through this winter im planning on leaving the lights on throughout the house to alleviate the long darkness of winter. Just kitted everything out in LED bulbs so should cost just a few quid to do.:ideaIPB:

                          I started an an actual gardening thread a few weeks ago. Nobody joined in, so I gave it up. I still popular on a bit but I must admit it's not the buzzing community I once grew so attached to.

                              It has been fairly quiet thread wise on GC, I agree, but we've been steadily gaining members every week and I guess they are busy browsing the forums. Some of the "usual suspects" have been pretty quiet but I put that down to them being busy with other things. A lot of the Gang log on and then just sit on the sidelines watching what's happening.:dunno::heehee:
