Problem editing posts containing quotes

After editing the quote tags change to indent tags and I have to use the BB Code editor to change them back, although they can re-appear in the post after hitting Save Changes.

 

Although I can't seem to duplicate here at the moment.

And it can also add that "click to expand" text when there's no further quoted text to display.

 

Test 2

What I've done is copy and paste from that post I've linked to, then changed the indent tags to quote tags plus deleted the 'click to expand's using BB Code editor - the spanner button at top RH corner- and Saved Changes, but my changes get ignored and it stays as indent tags

Could somebody else could use Reply the get the relevant text in their post and then try the same edit/save to see what happens?

Test 3, what I've done below is copy from what's displayed between the 'Codes' (see pic below), plus the Code tags themselves, pasted it below then again tried changing indent tags to quote tags plus deleted the click to expands then posted reply and ...

It changes back by itself again.

This is an easier one for anybody to check themselves by coping what's in the Code box, pasting into a reply then trying to edit and post it. This is the bit to use

 

Cor, it gets even weirder!

In my post #6 above I copied and pasted the text/tags shown highlighted in the screenshot at the bottom of that post.

I've just tried highlighting that same text and clicking on the Reply button that appears, and the Indent tags change to quote tags!

Try it yourself/selves:

Select the highlighted bit shown thus from below, then click on Reply and watch the INDENT tags change to QUOTE tags

I know, but it's good to have somebody else check it out and confirm such, as that should help confirm it's a Xenforo issue, rather than something related to my specific hardware/browser (although I already checked with different devices and browsers).

 

Doesn't seem to have worked in example when I tried to replicate earlier attempt when I checked with BB Code editor.
