Thank you for your reply JWK. Flickr won't let me copy the image put I can put a reference in. I tried to paste the file from my computer which was 51Kb but that was rejected as too big. Can we settle for this? The trouble is I have some more pictures which may be of interest to you.

Thank you wiseowl that's great. What should I have done please? I don't see too well so I don't always spot the instructions.

Good evening @Oakridge well I went to your flicker link and then I used the snipping tool which allowed me to take a screen shot of your image on to my PC and then just uploaded the image;)

@Oakridge You have to have reached a certain number of posts to the forum before you can upload pics, (I do not know how many and over what time scale sorry)

Nice one @Sheal :dbgrtmb: - 15k on that engine means that it is just about run in (and no, I am not joking), and being a Nissan I would expect it to be pretty bomb-proof for a lot of years and miles to come. A colleague's wife bought a black one week before last, also an N-tec and she is delighted with it -- in fact, even he commented how it just glides along; it made his old Astra estate ('05) feel so rough and antiquated he went out and bought a nearly new Astra estate last week!

If you haven't done so already, I would suggest speaking to your Nissan dealer about a service plan - they work out less than £20 a month, and pay for your services for three years including all the fluids etc. Nothing else to tell you with your one - they don't ail anything that I am aware of, and seem to be thoroughly dependable, efficient wee workhorses.

I wish you all the happiness with your lovely new motor :)

@Oakridge - you have 47 posts, and have been with us a while, so I don't think that is the problem to be honest. Are the photos you want to post stored on your computer?

Thank you - er - 'fat controller'. The photos are on my computer but when I tried to post the photo from there I got the message that the file was too big even after I had reduced its size to 51Kb.

Thanks @fat controller for giving it the 'once over'. :dbgrtmb: It looks like we've got ourselves a good buy, although there are some niggly points about it we could do without but I suppose no car is going to be exactly what we want.

We signed up for the service plan when we bought it and most things are covered too - if it should fail on MOT. We've also got free roadside assistance for three years. So yes, Mr S and I are happy with Nissans package. :)

Hmmmm.... most odd. Would you be able to email it to us - [email protected] - and I will see if I can upload it from my end?
