Perspex shelters

In my garden I've got some perspex shelters. Two of them are on either side of my garage - one on the north side and one on the south side.

They were very open and drafty, so I've had doors put on the sides.

One window slides open to allow ventilation, and so that Bella can inspect what's growing in there

I must stress I didn't do the work myself. I am no good at things like that so I had someone to do it for me

Now I'll be able to go in there to do my potting and sowing, even when it's windy or raining

I'm glad I'm not the only one who brings plants into the house for winter

 

Ithink I can beat you there, I carry my plants over from my moms and keep them in an eighth storey flat

 

I bring my cacti in from the greenhouse every winter, as I think they'll suffer from the Devon damp also I get to see the late and early flowers. Although the mealy bug have to be watched.
In summer I grow Achimenes on the window sills.

 

You must love them very much I would do the same !

I carry my Pelargoniums up to the bathroom on the stairlift

 

You are very kind to your cacti.
We get very wet weather here too but I put most of my cacti in a perspex shelter outside the back door. It's mostly dry in there, and I can see them when I wash the dishes.
I've never grown Achimenes. They are pretty. Maybe I'll try them next year
