Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

I am sure you will like it when it has fully dried , and you see it in all different lights . Most of us get the "now not to sure" feeling when painting a room.

After having the kitchen and wc re-done, I HAD to paint the living room, which spiralled into the hallway, landing and this weekend, the upstairs bathroom! Ceilings and glossing door frames/skirtings included!! More than likely will paint the bedroom weekend after too.. kids room were only done last year.. it looks so fresh though

 

I've been looking at it on and off today and I decided I like it. Phew!

 

Well we have been allotmenteering this morning as rain is forecast for all day tomorrow so cracked on with taking down the runner bean canes,picking All Gold Raspberries, and I have been emptying tonne bags and recycling the compost into empty bags to aid the composting cycle.

As I finished locking the metal allotment gate,I was just walking to the car when I glanced down as something blue was folded up in the grass.It turned out to be one of these which I am not complaining about as it will go towards part of our allotment rent or I might donate it to the rescue centre who are looking after the two baby hedgehogs now in their care until the spring.I couldn't have been there long as there wasn't any dirt or wet on it

 

Made some Christmas gifts.

 

Been to martial arts class. couldn't stop laughing for some reason. Done my arm and shoulder in. A hot bath, Tiger balm, beer, sleep, in that order and it'll be fine by tomorrow.

 

not much. Saturday, the usual arends and food shopping, leaf raking, laundry, supper. Sunday, not much. some filing for taxes in April. Just odds and ends. outside putting the fountains away for the winter. Just hanging. cheers.

 

Yesterday after lunch we popped over to the local reservoir to see if we could spot any of the three Otters that have been seen over there but no luck so after an hour we headed for home and our warm house.

This morning we have to take these two baby hedgehogs to the rescue centre to join the other two they are already look after for us as they are too small for hibernation and as we have a lot of wind and rain at the moment I think we are going to get a tad wet

@"M" if you look closely at the one facing the camera it has what looks like grey hairs on the front of its face above its nose

Pity the photo isn't clearer but I was trying to take the photo quickly before it tried jumping off the scales as they are quiet active little things

They now have 135 baby hedgehogs in their care according to the wipe board in the shop.Pity I didn't take my camera as there was a long list of all the animals and birds they have there at the moment.I took a lot of old pet towels,hand and bath towels as they are in desperate need of them.One lady evidently has handed in eight babies to them this year
