You chose the best possible colour @Sheal. Angelina does 20k miles before I notice that she is filthy , and thats only because they wash her on her service.

 

The colour chose us really @NorthantsGeezer, you don't really get a choice when picking out the best of a batch, so to speak. You're right though, dirt doesn't show so much on a grey car. We've owned to black cars in the past and they're a nightmare, look fantastic when clean but dreadful when dirty.

 

@Sheal , my car is the same colour , mid-grey metallic . They do hide the dirt well

 

FC I am afraid I cannot remember sending you the email, but I have experimented with creating a gallery and posting a photo from the Samsung tablet and the Ubuntu PC and both worked so it must be something to do with the Forum. Let me know if I didn't send the email if you need it.

 

Sorry FC, a case of not enough information. Ubuntu is a Linux flavour.

 

No, no FC, the first photo of the apple blossom was uploaded from the tablet and the second one from the Linux PC. It is odd that they uploaded to the gallery with no trouble. Can I just give up and refer people to my flickr album which is all gardening related, except that this problem was caused by a car photo? Life gets tedious don' it?

 

Thank you FC. Before I retired I was involved in IT for 30 years so I know very well what a frustrating world it can be. I have spent today explaining to a small company what danger they are in using an XP PC to do there accounts in the Cloud with Sage. We have a dormant domain name with an old web site which has had all the links connected to porn sites in the last few days.

 

Not been here for a while had quite a few things going on
upshot is i'm moving and to a place with not many cars i'll not have one

empty, garage still full,workshop still full 'o' my head
