A walk in the woods on Saturday. Some of the beech trees are 500 years old.

Is that a Horse, and are there any Truffles?

 

I don't think it's a horse's skull, the teeth don't look quite right but may be wrong, looks more like a deer to me maybe?

 

I've seen quite a few horses in those woods, around this time last year there was a mare and a foal. I've also found various animal skeletons over the years whilst out walking but not there (one complete but without the head... ) and we've got one horse and two cow skulls in the garden. The buzzards do a grand job of picking them clean. The only deer around here are roe deer, so not sure...

 

House hunting is at a standstill at the moment @silu, there's nothing new coming to the market with Christmas and winter almost upon us. I'm watching the estate agents though.
