        Aloha everyone,

        Sunny and frosty here.

I got three hours of pressure hosing done yesterday. Mrs Shiney has bought some chemical that you spray on patios that is supposed to clean them but can take six to ten weeks to do it. One of our cousins has used it and their paving looks fantastic.

I thought that I should pressure hose of the surface mold and dirt first - and the area I have done looks quite good but is still covered in tough algae and fungi. I hope to get the rest of it done over the weekend and then, if it's dry during the week, get Michael to spray the stuff on it (he's got the protective clothing and mask).

They do say that you should try to keep pets off it until it has dried so we're a bit worried about Sarafi. His humans are usually out all day and he has his own door key :snork: Hopefully it will have a smell he won't like :fingers crossed:

They say it's not harmful to plants but I'm not too sure . http://www.wetandforget.co.uk/products

I've got a stinking cold this morning . Last night at bridge didn't help as the fire alarms went off. That club is in a school hall so we had to evacuate the place until the fire brigade turned. They only took five minutes :blue thumb: but wanted to know where the control box was. None of us knew :dunno:. We only have access to the hall and it's a separate part of the building. Having gone round peering in windows I spotted the control box flashing in one area of the school. We didn't have keys and when the fire brigade asked if we have the number of he caretaker we told them that the school had made 'economy cuts' and got rid of the caretaker and sold his house! They eventually managed to get a keyholder down and sorted the technical problem out - took 45 minutes. The locals weren't too happy with this happening at 9.30 - 10.15 as the alarms made a hell of a noise!

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

            Aloha everyone,

@moyra I hope your legs improve today :grphg:. It's 43F out there at the moment but no wind, so it shouldn't feel too bad if you wrap up warm. They forecast sunshine from lunchtime.

I didn't do anything yesterday but wallow in feeling sorry for myself :heehee:. My stinking cold seems a bit better today so I may go out and do more pressure hosing when the sun comes out.

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

                  Aloha everyone,

I guess that my cold must be a brain drain as it keeps running out of my nose :heehee: but I'm feeling quite a lot better this morning.

@moyra I hope your legs start getting better today :grphg:. I think you may need to plan your dog walking very carefully tomorrow. The forecast is for -5 tonight :hate-shocked: so it may be icy in the morning.

I did another couple of hours pressure washing yesterday and my cold didn't bother me whilst I was out there. The moment I came back in it started up again

Some meetings today so I had better get a move on.

Keep well and have a great day

                  Aloha!
