Another hard frost this morning after a disappointing night where my viewing of the Stars was cut short at 11pm by freezing fog moving in:wallbanging::gaah: This morning the temperature was 29f, with bright skies and no breeze. The temperature rose to 39f by mid afternoon but there was still frost where the Sun couldn't reach it. Low cloud has moved in again tonight, which means no using the Telescope tonight:doh:, the temperature is 35f and the pressure reading is 1026mbs.:coffee::snorky:

My patio is frosted; it was frosted yesterday and now it has a double frosting. I know in the US they like their frostings, on cakes (!), but my slippers are now sticking to the frosted frostings outside.

If this keeps up, I'll soon be doing the Moon Walk!

The heavy frost has remained here through the last two days and is still gleaming at me. I shan't venture out until it has gone!

A grey start followed by light showers so close together it needn't have bothered with the breaks in between. The only bonus was the lack of wind allowing it to feel warmer than 11C/52F.

Another hard frost this morning in the garden with a temperature of 34f and clear blue skies and no breeze........and again the Cats kept their morning patrol of the garden short and were soon back in the warm House for breakfast.
By midday the temperature had risen to 47f and some cloud had moved in from the West but again there was a lack of a breeze. So right now the temperature is 46f with a pressure reading of 1012hpa.:coffee::snorky:

Yesterday ended up still foggy (they'd told us it would clear by lunchtime so I should have expected it to hang around all night :heehee:) and although the temperature had risen to 40F by 11 p.m. it felt very damp and cold.

This morning we have 46F with overcast sky and a light breeze. It's only slightly misty but very drear.

Still quite mild out tonight/this morning. Didn't even need my coat on to watch the neighbouring fireworks :dbgrtmb: Ok, so "neighbouring" is pushing it a bit :heehee: The nearest ones were a good few miles away, but they did light up the horizon a tad!

At least there is no frost at this point, so that is good. The fog might well be another issue (just not right now).
