Most excellent underused words

You've lost me, Loki

 

I doubt that you would ever be that, Loki,..........xxx sincerely back to you

 

There will always be Bullies, Loki, [Persecutor, Tough, Oppressor, Tormentor, BullyBoy, Browbeater, Coercer, Ruffian, Intimidator]. There were lots at my Schools and I was never big enough to retaliate........but I used to think "What goes around, comes around", and was proved right later in life. A person is only a Bully if you take notice of them or what is being said or done......ignoring them leaves them defenceless.

 

Then stay true to the words, and be the Loki I know!!

And I find the English Language the weapon that defeats them all. Bullies will never drive me away from the places I want to be, in fact, they make me more determined to stay there.

Simple, troublefree, unproblematic, manageable, pushover, uncomplicated, undemanding, painless, straightforward.

 

@Loki we don't have bullies on GC We have people, such as myself, who have a weird sense of humour and forget that not everyone thinks the same way. (Maybe that's why I don't have any friends! )

Actually, that's one of the main reasons that I miss work. I had trained most of my staff (all of them came to me directly from school) to enjoy verbal fencing and repartee. So I spent all day long being insulted by them. Of course, I had to force feed them a dictionary first! It was actually written into their Contract of Employment (true) that once they had finished their apprenticeship they were allowed to take the pee out of me at any time. :rasp: After 15 years of retirement I still see, or hear from, at least 20 of them on a regular basis.

 

Of course, people such as @ARMANDII @Zigs and @"M" are past masters at taking the pee out of me - and I didn't even have to train them. For some people it comes as natural.
